Learning Outcome 3 (U20): Be able to produce the planned media components  M3 (U20): Explain how the created media components comply with the codes and conventions of the media sectors  Billboard This is the billboard we created for PhizzWizzard. We will be comparing it with an existing McDonalds billboard to show how we were influenced by existing campaigns and conformed to billboards codes and conventions. The image next to our advert (on the right) shows a McDonalds billboard advertising a new burger (sourced from Google Images). One convention of a billboard is the slogan. As shown in the McDonalds billboard, their slogan 'Green is the new red' is large, in capital letters next to their burger (which is the item being promoted). This inspired our campaign; as you can see ours says 'Takes you back'. Learning Outcome 3 (U20): Be able to produce the planned media components  P4 (U20): Create production materials to be used in the original media product For the campaign, my group created a video advert, a magazine advert, and a billboard. These forms of advertisement were used as it allows for a mass audience to be aware of the brand and attract the target audience directly. Video advert Billboard/Magazine advert Overall, the feedback for the video was very positive. The large target audience of 14-18 year olds, as well as 30 year olds, were very keen on the advert. Below are two of the user tests that agreed to be filmed. The rest of the qualitative data that was found is summarised underneath.  Many noted that the narrative was very clear and the overall advert was engaging. Everyone interviewed said they would be interested in purchasing the drink after watching. Learning Outcome 2 (U20): Be able to plan a cross media advertising campaign to a client brief Both pass tasks were completed in a group with me, Ben, Solly, and Paige. The merit and distinction tasks were completed individually by me. P2 (U20): Create a plan for a cross media advertising campaign in response to a client brief    Concept and plan The concept for the campaign will be to portray the drink as exciting and nostalgic to the two target audiences of teenagers and 30-year olds. The campaign will have a retro, 90s aesthetic, which will entice the target audience to purchase the drink as it is nostalgic and aesthetically pleasing to them. The advertisements will show a life without PhizzWizzard, which will be portrayed as dull and boring.
